General Terms and Conditions - Taxi Schiphol

Welcome to Taxi Schiphol. By using our services, you accept these terms and conditions. Read this carefully before you book.

Our terms are to provide safe and clear services. Here you can read about our booking policy, prices, customer responsibilities and Taxi Schiphol, and other important points. 1. Definitions and Applicability

1.1 Taxi Schiphol: This is our company that offers taxis for transport to and from Schiphol and other places.

1.2 Klant: The person or persons who request a service and accept our terms and conditions.

1.3 Diensten: All transport services that Taxi Schiphol offers, such as normal journeys and airport transport.

1.4 These conditions apply to all services of Taxi Schiphol, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Services and Availability

2.1 Service offering: Taxi Schiphol offers various taxi services, such as airport transport and city rides.

2.2 Availability: We try to make our services available at all times, but may adjust or cancel them if necessary.

2.3 Special Requests: Request special items such as extra space or child seats when booking.

3. Boeking en Annulering

3.1 Booking process: Customers can book via our website, by telephone or other ways.

3.2 Booking changes: Customers can make changes up to 12 hours before the ride. We are flexible, but cannot guarantee last minute changes.

3.3 Annuleringsbeleid: You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the ride. For no-shows or cancellations within 2 hours, we may charge the full rate.

4. Rates, Payment and Billing

4.1 Price transparency: All rates are communicated in advance. There are no hidden costs.

4.2 Payment terms: Payments can be made in advance online with iDEAL or credit card, or in cash to the driver.

4.3 Billing: Companies that book regularly can be invoiced monthly after approval.

4.4 Waiting time costs: If the customer arrives late, we may charge waiting time fees.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Obligation of Attendance: Customers must be at the agreed location on time and bring a valid ID.

5.2 Luggage: Customers can bring normal luggage, but must report heavy or special items in advance.

5.3 Behavior and Safety: Customers must behave neatly and politely.

Too behaved. Our drivers can end the ride if there is inappropriate behavior.

6. Delays, Waiting Times and Arrival

6.1 Delays: We are not liable for delays due to things beyond our control, such as traffic or bad weather.

6.2 Waiting times at Schiphol: Upon arrival at Schiphol, we provide 30 minutes of free waiting time after landing. Additional time may incur costs.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for indirect damage such as missed appointments or emotional damage.

7.2 Loss of Property: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Customers should carefully check their belongings.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Privacy Policy: Taxi Schiphol respects customer privacy. Data is only used for bookings and not shared with others.

8.2 Retention of Data: Data is kept for administration for 12 months and then deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

Taxi Schiphol can change these conditions. Customers must keep themselves informed of changes.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 This agreement is subject to Dutch law.

10.2 Disputes are preferably resolved through mediation. If that doesn't work, it will go to court in Amsterdam.
